Did you know that according to Freedom House's annual "Freedom on the Net" report, over 70% of global populations live in countries whose internet is not "free"? (We are not talking about "free" in the financial sense, but in terms of uninterrupted access to online content.) Among many issues that lead to the result, state-backed censorship is prominent and growing. "Breaking the Walled Wide Web" is a podcast dedicated to understanding online censorship happening around the world to help paint a fuller picture of what tomorrow's internet will look like.
